One worksheet. Three classes. Each difference carries the rule that produced it.
Counterline
Your premium was set on a guess.
Every variance, with its rule and its amount.
Counterline holds the record of your insurable exposure, recomputes the audited premium against it, and documents each variance with the rule that produced it.

01 Shared infrastructure
Two products, one rule
No amount is displayed without its rule. No document is opened without a trace. Both products are built on the same five primitives, so what one proves, the other proves the same way.
01
An immutable register
Entries are timestamped and signed. Corrections happen by reverse entry, never by rewriting.
02
A dated rule engine that cites its source
Every computed figure carries the rule, the version of the rule, and the document behind it.
03
Adversarial recomputation of a third party's decision
A carrier's audit worksheet, a benefits statement, recomputed line by line against the register.
04
Sensitive data partitioned at the foundation
Row level security policies in PostgreSQL plus an access ledger, not permissions in a screen.
05
Multi-party orchestration
Employer, broker, carrier and employee read one record. Nobody re-keys, so nothing diverges.
02 The boundary
One rule we do not bend
We calculate and we evidence. Someone else decides. We are not an insurance producer, an adjuster, a third-party administrator or a law firm. Adjusting claims, settling them or collecting premium triggers licensing in most states, and giving legal conclusions is not our trade. So we hold the record, we do the arithmetic, and we show the rule behind every figure. The employer and its licensed advisers decide what to do with it.
03 Browser tools
Find out in two minutes
Both tools are free, run entirely in your browser, and take about two minutes. If they find nothing, you will know your program is clean. That is worth knowing too.
Recheck your last audit
Compare the carrier's worksheet with the exposure record and see where the arithmetic diverges.
